Consultant Ecologist, North East & Yorkshire
up to £35 000 plus benefits

We are looking for a consultant ecologist to join our growing team based in the North East and Yorkshire. 

Applicants should have the following skills - 

  • Knowledge and understanding of the planning system and current and evolving wildlife policy and legislation.

  • Experience undertaking Preliminary Ecological Appraisals, Biodiversity Net Gain assessments and Ecological Impact Assessments.

  • An ability to produce written reports to a high standard.  

  • Effective project management and client liaison skills.

  • The ability to identify, understand, and resolve ecological issues.

  • Enthusiasm for ecology and the environment in the UK.

  • An organised approach to work, flexibility and a high level of motivation.

  • A good BSc and / or MSc in a relevant subject.

  • A full driving licence and access to your own transport.

  • CIEEM membership is preferred.

Senior Ecologist, North East & Yorkshire
up to £42 000 plus benefits

We are seeking an experienced ecologist who is ready to bring leadership, depth of insight, and a seasoned approach to our expanding team. 

Applicants should have the following skills - 

  • Knowledge and understanding of the planning system and current and evolving wildlife policy and legislation.

  • Experience undertaking Preliminary Ecological Appraisals, Biodiversity Net Gain assessments and Ecological Impact Assessments.

  • An ability to produce written reports to a high standard.  

  • At least two survey licenses for Protected Species.

  • Effective project management and client liaison skills.

  • The ability to identify, understand, and resolve ecological issues.

  • Enthusiasm for ecology and the environment in the UK.

  • An organised approach to work, flexibility and a high level of motivation.

  • A good BSc and / or MSc in a relevant subject.

  • A full driving licence and access to your own transport.

  • FISC Level 4 and CIEEM membership is preferred.
